PROJECT DETAILS
TNB proposed to develop a 275kV PMU switching station on Lot PT19584 in Mukim Sg. Karang, Kuantan. This switching station (switchyard) is built to function as a collector and distributor of power supply to local substations. GCU was appointed as the architect, geotechnical, civil & structural consultant for the proposed development.
SCOPE OF WORKS
The scope of architectural & civil consultancy services provided include:-
- Planning and development of the architectural drawings.
- Planning and design of the earthwork platform levels for cut and fill analysis, silt traps and temporary earth drains during construction.
- Planning and design of all civil infrastructure works including sewerage, water supply, road and drainage.
- Preparation of submission drawings / reports to obtain approval from local authorities, SAJ, JKR, JPS, PPSPPA and IWK
- Design and development of all structural elements including rc-pile, pad footing and raft foundations, beams, slabs, column and shear walls for substation units
- Design & technical support during construction and CCC
